The year was 1994. I was in high school.
Most of my friends were preparing to go to university. I had a burning desire to pursue higher education. Unfortunately, due to various circumstances, that dream seemed out of reach for me.
One of my friends, who would often come to me for advice and notes, was headed to one of the most prestigious institutions in the world, MIT. While I found myself in a basic Bachelor of Commerce degree, feeling lost and envious. Fast forward to today. I’m beyond excited to share that I’ve been invited to speak at Cornell University for the Imagine AI Live event. This opportunity is surreal and feels like a dream come true.
Cornell, a university renowned for its Nobel laureates and Fortune 500 CEOs.
Seemed like an unattainable pinnacle when I was younger.
Life has a funny way of coming full circle.
From a small town in India to speaking at one of the world’s top universities, my journey shows that it can happen to anyone. Back then, I couldn't imagine this moment.

It’s a powerful reminder that our paths are unpredictable. And that perseverance can lead us to incredible places. So, here’s to everyone out there who feels like they’re not where they want to be yet.
